I have often found that goals are sometimes difficult to stay motivated to work toward. Whether it’s to be more fit, do really well in school, learn a new instrument, it really doesn’t matter. You miss one day of working out, or you decide to go out instead of study, or you figure you’ll practice that saxophone tomorrow instead… you always feel that nagging feeling of guilt and self-disappointment. At least, I do.
But even if you accomplish one single tiny little goal, you seem to have more motivation to work harder toward other, perhaps more difficult, goals.
This is why Pete and I have created “Project 365″. We plan on accomplishing one little goal a day in hopes this will keep us motivated to accomplish some of our larger goals. So what exactly is Project 365? It’s a photo a day. We have already taken our first one but we haven’t decided yet what today’s photo will be. The important thing is that taking a single photograph is simple, fast, and fun – and it’s accomplishing something small every day.
So, here goes:
January 1, 2012, Taking down the Christmas tree.

Good Luck with all of your goals this year, big and small!

An update! Here’s some of the newer photos per day. I haven’t uploaded all of them yet, so you might notice there are days missing – that’s because the pictures are on a different camera… sorry!
